POLICE K-9 HANDLER'S COURSE FOR SINGLE PURPOSE – 3 Weeks $4000 per Team

For Handlers who are purchasing K-9s from Alpha K-9 or for those who already have a dog from elsewhere. The handler's course teaches each team to be more efficient in the discipline of handling a detection dog. Narcotics Detection, Explosives Detection, and Search and Rescue are covered in their entirety.

Police K-9 HANDLERS COURSE DUAL PURPOSE – 4 Weeks - $5000.00 per Team

Detection and Patrol work are covered in the Dual Purpose Handlers Course. Detection of Narcotics or Explosives as well as aspects of Patrol work are covered. Building Search, Apprehension, and Tracking are all included. New dogs purchased from Alpha K-9 as well as Handlers with dogs they they are already working with.

Course Includes/Requires:

• Each handler will be allowed to bring one K-9.
• K-9s must have health certificate
• Handlers will be limited to 6 Handlers Per Course.
• K-9s will be trained on the Short Rack, exposed to the Oral Bridge, and trained to transfer to the Oral Game with precision and accuracy.
• Apprehension, Tracking, and Patrol for those attending the Dual Purpose Course.

LAW ENFORCEMENT K-9 TRAINERS COURSE (4 WEEKS) $6000.00

The" Law Enforcement K-9 Trainers Course" is structured toward the departmental trainer or professional trainer responsible for turning out multiple dog and handler teams over a 6 to 12 week period. Focus will be on utilizing modern methods to assist trainers in educating their k-9 teams to reach a common and efficient goal. In this course it is "you - the trainer" performing the training under Randy's guidance. Trainers will be walked through every aspect of Detection (Narc and Explosives), Apprehension, Tracking, Area Search, and Building Search and techniques for certifying under different organizations. A 10% deposit is required to reserve your spot in the course. Lodging is available at $30.00 per night at the facility or for 50.00 per night at the host hotel.

• Each Trainer will be allowed to bring one K-9 (unless otherwise specified)
• K-9s must have health certificate
• Trainers Course will be limited to 6 Trainers.
• Each segment of the method will be explained and experienced in detail with the trainers performing the training responsibilities.
• Trainer or Handler should possess prior experience in K-9
